How does Freshpaint compare to server-side Google Tag Manager?

Unlike server-side Google Tag Manager, Freshpaint can send data to any of our supported destinations in a HIPAA-compliant way.

  • Freshpaint does not require you to manage your own servers.

  • Freshpaint does not run the risk of accidentally adding tags to non-compliant destinations that expose you to liability.

Server-side Google Tag Manager is not default-safe. If you add a tag type which would send data to a non-compliant destination, the data will be sent there without any protection.
