Meta Ads Audiences

Freshpaint Audiences allows you to sync your segmented or imported audiences to Meta Audiences — all while enabling you to maintain compliance with privacy regulations like HIPAA.

In Meta, these will appear as Customer List Custom Audiences, even though Freshpaint refers to them as “Audiences.”

This guide walks through how to set up and verify your connection between Freshpaint and your Meta Audiences account.

Meta account requirements

The following must be true about the Meta account you use for this process:

1. Your Meta account has permission to access the Meta Ads account used for this integration.

2. Your Meta account is in good standing with Meta and not in violation of their advertising policies.

3. You have at least Advertiser permissions in your Meta Ads account.

Connect Meta Audiences account to Freshpaint

1. To begin, select the Meta Audiences option from Freshpaint’s Integration Catalog.

1. On the Meta Audiences configuration page, select the Configure option on the right side and enter your Meta Ads ID (looks like 123456789012345).

2. Connect your Meta account to your Freshpaint account by clicking the Connect button on the right. This must be the same Meta Account you use to access your Meta Ads account.

3. Click Enable, then click Save to agree to send the appropriate identifier to the Ad Platform. These properties are required by Meta Ads Audiences.

4. Click Test Connection This tests that:

• Your Meta account is associated with the Meta Ads account used for this integration.

• Your Meta account is in good standing with Meta and not in violation of their advertising policies.

• Your Freshpaint integration configuration is valid.

• You have accepted the Meta Custom Audience Terms of Service.

1. Finally, add a label to your integration.

   

✅ That’s it! Your Meta Ads Audience integration is now ready to use.

💡 After you sync an audience from Freshpaint, you’ll find it in Meta as a Customer List Customer Audience.
